Welcome. As someone who has grown up in northern New Jersey and is a parent here myself, I appreciate the unique aspects for families and mental health here. I founded MedPsych to be a practice that provides you and/or your child empathetic and excellent psychiatric care.

Our team of psychiatrists, therapists, and coaches often work together to provide coordinated, personalized treatment. We start with a thorough evaluation and take the time to learn your story, so we can set you on the best path.

MedPsych uses a unique, conservative approach to psychiatric treatment. What does that mean? We don’t rush, and we don’t assume medication is always your first option. When medication is appropriate, we move carefully and deliberately.

We provide thoughtful medication management for children and teens, monitoring progress closely and coordinating with parents, schools, and other providers to support emotional and behavioral growth.

How to Get Started with MedPsych

Schedule an Appointment with our Care Coordinator

Book a free 30 minute appointment with our care coordination team. On that call you can discuss your needs, learn about MedPsych services and providers, and fees. Ask any questions on how we work, payments and insurance, etc.

Meet your MedPsych Provider

You will then be matched with a MedPsych provider who best fits your needs. After filling out some forms online prior, you will meet with the provider, for either an initial clinical consult or intake session.

Start your treatment plan

From there, you will start an ongoing treatment plan with your provider based on your diagnosis and needs.
