Abigail completed her MSW at the University of Vermont. She is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of New Jersey. As a trauma informed therapist, Abby is interested in the interconnectedness of the mind and body. She uses her training and experience to guide individuals through the process of identifying and strengthening the power within to achieve balance, joy, and a sense of greater purpose.

Abby works using a holistic approach incorporating multiple aspects of the human experience, including nutrition, physical wellness and social or familial support. She is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and has completed Level One through The IFS Institute. In addition, she has studied at the Beck Institute in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Abby is trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) through the Yale child study center. She works with children, adolescents and families offering therapy that is rooted in strong theoretical frameworks and applied with a dynamic and client-led approach. Trauma Informed Therapy and the interconnectedness of the mind and body are of special interest. Abigail uses targeted training to work with individuals and families who struggle with trauma, parenting, substance use, and psychiatric difficulties.

  • Adventure – Travel, from the beach to mountains I’m in! Dogs – I love their wet noses and unconditional love. Nutrition and health – I love cooking and eating delicious food! Music – is my Zen place. You can find me making art with the kids in my neighborhood on the weekends!
