Dr. Elfar completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers, completing a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went on to attend and complete Medical School at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School in Newark (Formerly known as UMDNJ). Residency training was completed at Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla, New York and in his final year he served as Chief Research Resident for the program.
He is passionate about combining common sense and evidence-based approaches to educate, empower and treat the root causes of illness.
Dr. Elfar believes in the importance of addressing every client as a person first and creating an environment of openness, safety, honesty, and healing with the clients he treats.
